These Terms and Conditions are entered into by Vruyr Saribekyan, an individual developer ("we," "us," or "our"), and you, the user of the Services.
We operate the mobile application Christians (the "App") — a Christian social networking mobile application where users can communicate, publish content, read Christian materials and the Bible, read the Bible aloud in live audio broadcasts and listen to others, participate in quizzes and spiritual challenges, watch videos together in shared rooms, participate in community forums, ask for and offer volunteer help, use a Faith Capsule, and receive AI-based informational answers.

The Services are intended for users who are at least 13 years old. Persons under the age of 13 are not permitted to use or register for the Services. Users aged 13–17 are subject to additional restrictions described in these Legal Terms and in our Privacy Policy.
The information provided when using the Services is not intended for distribution to or use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction where such distribution would be contrary to law or regulation. Those persons who choose to access the Services from other locations do so on their own initiative and are solely responsible for compliance with local laws.
The Services are not tailored to comply with industry-specific regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, etc.). You may not use the Services in a way that would violate the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA).
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Services, including all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics (collectively, the "Content"), as well as the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the "Marks"). Our Content and Marks are protected by copyright and trademark laws in Armenia and around the world.
Subject to your compliance with these Legal Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Services solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
No part of the Services and no Content or Marks may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our express prior written permission. Any breach of these Intellectual Property Rights will constitute a material breach of our Legal Terms and your right to use our Services will terminate immediately.
Submissions: By sending us any question, comment, suggestion, idea, or feedback about the Services, you agree to assign to us all intellectual property rights in such Submission.
Contributions: When you post Contributions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide right and license to host, store, reproduce, distribute, display, and moderate your Contributions to the extent necessary to operate, improve, secure, and promote the Services. You retain ownership of your Contributions. You are solely responsible for your Contributions.
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:
You may be required to register to use the Services. You agree to keep your password confidential and will be responsible for all use of your account and password. We reserve the right to remove, reclaim, or change a username you select if we determine it is inappropriate, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make the Services available. As a user of the Services, you agree not to:
The Services may invite you to create, submit, post, display, transmit, perform, publish, distribute, or broadcast content and materials (collectively, "Contributions"). Contributions include, without limitation, audio you transmit in a live broadcast and messages you send in live chat. Contributions may be viewable or audible by other users and through third-party websites. When you create or make available any Contributions, you represent and warrant that:
By posting your Contributions to the Services, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, worldwide license to host, store, copy, reproduce, display, transmit, distribute, reformat, and moderate your Contributions to the extent necessary to operate, improve, secure, and promote the Services, including transmitting live audio to listeners in real time. This license does not permit us to sell or sublicense your Contributions independently of the Services.
You retain full ownership of your Contributions and all intellectual property rights associated with them. We do not assert any ownership over your Contributions. You are solely responsible for your Contributions and you expressly agree to exonerate us from any and all responsibility regarding your Contributions.
User-generated content (posts, messages, comments, forum posts, Watch Room chat messages, live audio broadcasts and live chat, community help requests, and other Contributions) is published or transmitted automatically upon submission by the user. We do not review or approve individual posts or broadcasts prior to their publication, with the exception of blog articles which go through a moderation queue before being published.
Content moderation, when applied, is performed solely to enforce our Community Content Standards (see Section 9) and does not constitute editorial control, sponsorship, or publication of user content. We are not the author, publisher, or speaker of any user-generated content.
We employ the following moderation mechanisms:
We perform good-faith moderation efforts but do not guarantee review of all content prior to or immediately after publication. Because live audio is transmitted in real time, we cannot review it before it is heard by listeners. We are not liable for content that has not yet been reviewed or removed, provided we act promptly upon receiving a valid report.
If you encounter content that violates our standards, please report it immediately using the in-app report function or by emailing [email protected].
Christians is a faith-based platform dedicated exclusively to Christian content and community. All content published or broadcast on the platform must align with general Christian values and be respectful toward the Christian faith and its denominations.
We will remove content that, in our sole discretion, contains or promotes:
These standards apply to all features of the Services, including but not limited to: direct messages (to the extent accessible for moderation upon report), group chats, posts, blog articles, forum threads and replies, Watch Room chat messages, live audio broadcasts and live chat, community help requests and responses, and Stories.
This platform is not a general-purpose social network. By using the Services, you acknowledge and accept that content outside the scope of Christian community values may be removed without prior notice and without obligation to explain the decision. Repeated violations will result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.
The Services include features powered by artificial intelligence, including:
AI-generated wallpapers and visual content available through the Services are provided for personal, non-commercial use only within the Services. You may not download, redistribute, sublicense, or sell AI-generated content outside the Services without our express written permission.
We reserve the right to modify, remove, or retrain AI features at any time without notice.
If you access the Services via the App, we grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to install and use the App on wireless electronic devices owned or controlled by you, strictly in accordance with these Legal Terms. You shall not:
Apple and Android Devices: The license granted is limited to use on Apple iOS or Android devices in accordance with the applicable App Distributor's terms of service. Each App Distributor is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and has the right to enforce them against you.
The Services include voice and video calling functionality between registered users. By using the calling features, you agree to the following:

By using the live audio feature, whether as a broadcaster or a listener, you agree to the following:

The Services include a community help and volunteering board where users may post requests for volunteer help and offer to help other users. It is intended solely for non-commercial, volunteer mutual aid within the Christian community.
By using the help board, you agree to the following:
The Services include spiritual challenges, such as daily habit challenges, Bible reading plans, and verse-memorization challenges, together with related progress tracking (such as streaks, completed days, Bible chapters read, and verses marked as memorized).

The Faith Capsule feature allows you to write and store a prayer or message that is "sealed" for a period you choose and revealed to you later, and to keep a personal record of whether a prayer was answered.
By using the Faith Capsule, you agree to the following:
As part of the functionality of the Services, you may link your account with online accounts you have with third-party service providers ("Third-Party Accounts"). By granting us access to any Third-Party Accounts, you understand that we may access, make available, and store any content you have provided to and stored in your Third-Party Account. Your relationship with third-party service providers is governed solely by your agreement(s) with such providers.
You can deactivate the connection between the Services and your Third-Party Account at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or through your account settings.
The Services may contain links to other websites ("Third-Party Websites") as well as articles, photographs, text, graphics, and other content belonging to or originating from third parties ("Third-Party Content"). Such Third-Party Websites and Third-Party Content are not investigated, monitored, or checked for accuracy by us, and we are not responsible for any Third-Party Websites accessed through the Services.
If you decide to leave the Services and access Third-Party Websites, you do so at your own risk and these Legal Terms no longer govern.
We allow advertisers to display their advertisements and other information in certain areas of the Services, including through Google AdMob. We simply provide the space to place such advertisements, and we have no other relationship with advertisers.
Advertising may be personalized based on your device advertising identifier where you have provided consent and applicable law permits. Users aged 13–17 are shown only non-personalized (contextual) advertising; advertising identifiers are not used and advertising data is not shared with ad partners for profiling purposes for these users. You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device settings or in-app privacy preferences.
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to: (1) monitor the Services for violations of these Legal Terms; (2) take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates the law or these Legal Terms; (3) in our sole discretion, refuse, restrict access to, limit the availability of, or disable any of your Contributions; (4) remove from the Services or disable all files and content that are excessive in size or burdensome to our systems; and (5) otherwise manage the Services to protect our rights and property.
We may process, transcode, compress, generate previews for, and deliver uploaded video content in different formats and resolutions for compatibility, moderation, performance, and playback purposes.
We care about data privacy and security. Please review our Privacy Policy: https://appchristians.com/privacy. By using the Services, you agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Legal Terms. Please be advised the Services are primarily hosted in Germany.
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any material available on or through the Services infringes upon any copyright you own or control, please immediately notify us at [email protected].
These Legal Terms shall remain in full force and effect while you use the Services.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, or delete your account and associated content, if: (1) you violate these Legal Terms or our Community Content Standards; (2) your use creates legal, safety, or security risk; (3) we detect fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access associated with your account; or (4) we are required to do so by law or court order. Where reasonable and practicable, we will provide notice before taking such action. Certain serious violations — including using the community help board to solicit money or material benefit, begging, scams, fraud, or extortion — may result in immediate and permanent termination without prior notice.
We may also discontinue the Services or any feature in whole or in part for operational or business reasons, with reasonable prior notice where practicable.
If your account is terminated for violations of these Legal Terms, you are prohibited from re-registering under your name, a false name, or any third-party name without our prior written consent.
We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Services at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. We cannot guarantee the Services will be available at all times.
These Legal Terms shall be governed by the laws of Armenia. Subject to the consumer-rights carve-out below, Vruyr Saribekyan and yourself consent that the courts of Armenia shall have jurisdiction to resolve disputes arising in connection with these Legal Terms.
Consumer rights: Nothing in these Legal Terms limits or excludes any mandatory rights you have under the consumer protection or data protection laws of your country of residence. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or United Kingdom, you also retain the right to bring claims in the courts of your country of residence, and the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply to the extent they provide greater protection than Armenian law.
We encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] to try to resolve any dispute informally before initiating formal proceedings. We will endeavour to respond within 30 days.
If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the Armenian courts, subject to your right as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence as described in Section 27.
We are not responsible for, and do not endorse, any user-generated content, including live audio broadcasts, live chat, and community help requests, or for any interaction, arrangement, meeting, or transaction between users. Nothing in this Section excludes or limits any warranty, right, or remedy which you have under applicable mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Legal Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (1) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (2) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (3) any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless, including our service providers and agents, from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses, made by any third party due to or arising out of: (1) your Contributions; (2) use of the Services; (3) breach of these Legal Terms; (4) any breach of your representations and warranties; (5) your violation of the rights of a third party; or (6) any overt harmful act toward any other user of the Services.
We will maintain certain data that you transmit to the Services for the purpose of managing the performance of the Services. We perform regular backups of server data using our infrastructure provider's backup facilities; however, these backups are maintained for service continuity and disaster recovery purposes and do not alter the data deletion rights described in our Privacy Policy.
You are solely responsible for all data that you transmit or that relates to any activity you have undertaken using the Services. You agree that we shall have no liability to you for any loss or corruption of any such data, and you waive any right of action against us arising from any such loss or corruption.
Visiting the Services, sending us emails, and completing online forms constitute electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications, and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communication be in writing.
If any complaint with us is not satisfactorily resolved, you can contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, California 95834 or by telephone at (800) 952-5210 or (916) 445-1254.
These Legal Terms and any policies or operating rules posted by us on the Services constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Legal Terms shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision or part of a provision of these Legal Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision or part of the provision is deemed severable from these Legal Terms and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
There is no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship created between you and us as a result of these Legal Terms or use of the Services. You agree that these Legal Terms will not be construed against us by virtue of having drafted them. You hereby waive any and all defenses you may have based on the electronic form of these Legal Terms and the lack of signing by the parties hereto to execute these Legal Terms.
